       Responsibilities

  • Performed cosmetic repairs by cutting or applying body filler

  • Repaired and/or replaced damaged components

  • Diagnosed, analyzed, straightened and aligned unibody parts using a tram

  • Cut high strength steel, removed and replaced modular glass

  • Safely prepared vehicles for repair

  • Repaired damaged vehicle frame, inner structure, and cosmetic aspects

  • Reported additional damages to the management for supplement

  • Recommended special operations such as alignment for wheels

  • Repaired and refinished semi tractor-trailers, as well as fiberglass hoods and various panels

  • Responsible for the restoration of classic cars and trucks and the fabrication and creation of patch panels

  • Mixed and tinted DuPont waterborne and solvent based paints and managed complex repairs and troubleshooting projects

  • Repaired difficult and problem plastic bumpers and panels with Fusor 2 part repair products and have vast experience with high end imports such as VW and Mercedes Benz.

  • Conducted detailed inspection of vehicles, parts and components

  • Operated and maintained shop equipment

  • Operate necessary software and diagnostic equipment

  • Performed repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer standards

  • Exceptional ability to work independently

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work

  • Facilitated work and prepared all vehicles for body repair

  • Responsible for cutting off, straightening, and replacing parts on customers vehicles

  • Frequently performed MIG welding on various body panels

  • Matched paint colors and sprayed repaired parts to meet specific quality standards

  • Met all safety standards by wearing respirators and other PPE

  • Sanded and buff vehicles to remove all blemishes and impurities

  • Reassembled of vehicles after all paint/buff jobs have been completed


      Qualifications​

  • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Basic Computer skills

  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment

  • Team player

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
